LPC Group, Leicester

LPC Group of Leicester are one of the UK’s biggest Independent Manufacturers of toilet rolls, kitchen
towels and paper towels.

This complex structural steelwork contract carried out for the LPC Group in Leicester, included the erection of a steel bridge of 60 tonnes of Hot Rolled steelwork to carry raw materials across the carriage way of a busy industrial estate in Leicester.
The erection was carried out using a tandem lift of two cranes with a total capacity of 170 tonnes.
The bridge was supported by two towers, erected and connected to the existing factory buildings.
In addition the contract included an extension to the Head Office building of 20 tonnes of hot rolled steel with a feature curved frontage.
